Refund Policy

This policy explains how refunds work for apps and subscriptions from Press For Play. How you ask for a refund depends on where you bought. Please check which of the two cases below applies to you.

1. Purchases Made on Our Website

Some of our apps are sold through a checkout on our website. These payments are processed by Paddle, our payment provider and merchant of record. Paddle appears on your bank or card statement and sends your receipt.

• Refund window: You can request a refund within 14 days of purchase. Requests are reviewed case by case. Where the law of your country gives you a statutory right to withdraw, that right applies as well.
• How to ask: Use the “Manage subscription” or “Manage transaction” link in your receipt email, or choose “Request refund” at paddle.net. You can also email [email protected] from the address you used to buy, with your order number and a short reason, and we will help.
• Who decides: Paddle processes and decides refund requests for these purchases. If something is wrong with the app itself, please contact us first so we can fix it.
• Timing: Approved refunds are generally paid within 14 days to your original payment method. The time it appears on your statement depends on your bank or card provider.
• After a refund: Access to the paid product ends once a refund is issued.
• Paddle’s terms: Paddle’s refund policy and buyer terms also apply to these purchases and may give you additional rights.

2. Purchases Made in the App Store or Google Play

If you subscribed or bought inside one of our apps through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the store takes the payment and handles the refund. We cannot issue, approve or see refunds for these purchases.

• Apple App Store: Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com or through Apple Support.
• Google Play: Request a refund through your order history in Google Play or through Google Play Support.
• The store’s refund rules apply, and the store makes the final decision.

3. Cancelling a Subscription

You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling does not by itself refund the current period or past payments. To ask for a refund, follow section 1 or 2.

• Website purchases: Use the “Manage subscription” link in your receipt email, or email us and we will cancel it for you.
• App Store: Cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings.
• Google Play: Cancel in the Subscriptions section of Google Play.

Deleting an app from your device does not cancel a subscription.

4. Free Trials

If an app offers a free trial, the trial converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it ends. The price and trial length are shown before you start. To avoid being charged, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, using the method for where you signed up (see section 3).

5. Virtual Items and Credits

Virtual items, currency and credits are digital content delivered immediately. Once they have been used, consumed or redeemed, they are not refundable, except where the law requires otherwise or where the item was not delivered because of a fault on our side. See also section 4 of our Terms and Conditions.

6. Your Legal Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country, including any statutory right to withdraw from a digital purchase. Where such a right applies, it is not affected by the 14-day window described above.

7. Duplicate or Unauthorised Charges

If you see a charge you do not recognise, or you were charged twice, contact us right away with the details. We will work with Paddle to fix it.
