Learn Deutsch: German Language
Learn German from your first words to C2, offline, on your phone and your computer.
About
Learn Deutsch takes an English speaker from zero to fluent German. The course is a path of short grammar units from A1 to C2. Each one teaches a single idea, shows examples of only that idea, then has you practise it before moving on.
Example sentences show German word order, and a highlight marks the part each idea is about, so grammar stays visible instead of hidden in tables.

Learn Deutsch is in testing now. It will be free on Google Play for Android, and the Windows and macOS versions will be sold through Gumroad.

Which levels does it cover?
The course goes from complete beginner (A1) up to C2, one grammar idea at a time, with a spoken milestone scenario at the end of each level.
Can I practise speaking?
Yes. Every unit has speaking drills, and spoken role-play scenarios let you hold short conversations in German. Speech recognition runs on your device, so what you say never leaves it.
